Box 196650 Anchorage, AK 99519 Re: McKinley Heights#1 Subdivision; Lot 2, Block 3 To Whom it May Concern: I have met with Bill and Cole Sullivan on multiple occasions to come up with a plan to get equipment in to drill a well at my residence located at McKinley Heights#1 Subdivision; Lot 2, Block 3. Cole Sullivan has indicated that it is not possible to safely get a well rig into the well location shown on my original permit. My lot is an infill lot in a developed subdivision.The lot is very steep and the possible locations for the well on the lot are limited by the steep terrain and the surrounding development. The proposed location of my well has been shifted to the bottom of my property as shown on my previously submitted permit. MOA has requested that I locate my well close to the well located on the adjacent lot(Lot 3, Block 3). I discussed this request with that neighbor Bob Perry and this is undesirable to both of us due to the low-flow nature of the wells on Amonson Road. The well on Lot 3 (Perry's lot) is a low flow well typical to many of the wells in the surrounding area. The flow rate of the well on lot 3 is 0.312 gpm per MOA records. Locating my well close to Mr. Perry's well is not desirable for both myself and Mr. Perry due to the low flow nature of the well. Lots 3 and Lot 4 have been developed as one lot due to the steep terrain. The driveway extends across both lots and the well and septic for the house are located on lot 3 and lot 4 respectively. I have discussed the impacts of my well on possible septic locations for Lot 3 with Mr. Perry. He indicated that his two lots are fully developed and he has no intention of ever separating the lots or building on Lot 3. Mr. Perry indicated that he would rather have my well located in the location shown on the attached plan than located next to his well as it has less of a chance of affecting his well, even though it limits the septic area of Lot 3.
