Debora Subdivision
Subjeett Debora Subdivision - Contaminated Wells
A recent survey of water wells in Debora Subdivision has revealed
numerous instances of contamination.
conversations with local well drillers and the failure of cor-
rective disinfection techniques indicates some water aquifers
are contaminated.
use of the contaminated wells for washing, bathing, or drinking
purposes should be prohibited regardless of disinfection. Drinking
and bathing water should be hauled in.
The possibility of an alternate water supply (community system)
should be explored by affected homeowners. In the interim,
health inspections requested by lending institutions can not
be approved on the affected wells.
If there are any further questions, please contact this office
at 279-2511, extension 220, 224 or 225.
