**NO VISIBLE SURFACE WATER WAS OBSERVED WITHIN 100+ FEET OF SEPTIC SYSTEM ON 10/4/2024.
NOTE: PLASTIC STEP TANK DID APPEAR TO HAVE SOME DEFORMATION LOOKING DOWN THE MANHOLE RISERS.
NO VISIBLE LEAKS WERE OBSERVED IN TANK AT THE RISER/TANK CONNECTIONS ON 10/5/2023.

In conducting this evaluation, GEG provided an engineering evaluation of the well and/or septic system in
accordance with the guidelines and regulations established by the Municipality of Anchorage and industry
practices. The reported results describe the condition of the system/s on the date/s of the evaluation.
Separation distances were measured to readily identifiable features. Hidden defects or encroachments may
exist that were not identified during the evaluation. The operational life of all wells and septic systems depend
upon a variety of variables, including (but not limited to) soil conditions, groundwater levels (that may fluctuate
during the year), quality of construction (materials and workmanship), and the water usage of the family utilizing
the system/s. These conditions can vary, and are outside the control of GEG. Satisfactory test results do not
guarantee future performance of the system/s; therefore, GEG makes no warranty (express or implied) regarding'.

There are drainage ditches (swales) essentially on north and east property lines. They actually look like they are off
property to me. I did not see any indication of drain pipe in these ditches/swales and there was no water in them when I
saw them. The survey did not pick up any pipe on his survey either, but he did show the C/L of the drainage ditch west of
the well (see survey). The well is 15'+ from the drainage ditch (swale). I think the best would to place a note on the
record drawings regarding this.
As far as the reserve site, I would put that rebuilding the drainfields as the alternate drainfield site.
On profile drawing, my field note are in the file for current final grades that I shot this fall. I would make these are
accurate to my field note and then a note needs to be placed on the drawing stating that additional cover and topsoil
and seeding to be done in the spring/summer of 2024.

Good afternoon Garness fam,
This is to the best of my kbowlwdge, and I may not know the correct terminology so please forgive the language if
incorrect. The blue is the inside curtain drain. It is 30" deep. And runs the length of the house on the north side then out
into the bigger drain. The east side runs past the house and driveway and then to the roadside ditch.
The exterior curtain drain is outside 10 feet from the leech field . The east side is approximately 7' deep it has a
corrugated pipe surrounded by D1 aggregate, then the top 6-12 inches is top soil. It then turns into a ditch which
continues to the roadside drainage. The north side is a deeper drainage ditch which gradually lessens with the terrain
until it reaches the roadside drainage.
I marked the aggregate in red, ditches in yellow and inside curtain in blue. I think that's about it.
