The reported results describe the condition of the system/s on the date/s of the evaluation. Separation distances were measured to readily identifiable features. Hidden defects or encroachments may exist that were not identified during the evaluation. The operational fife of all wells and septic systems depend upon a variety of variables, including but not limited to, soil conditions, groundwater levels (that may fluctuate during the year), quality of construction (materials and workmanship), and the water usage of the family utilizing the system/s. These conditions can vary, and are outside the control of GEG. Satisfactory test results do not guarantee future performance of the - system/s; therefore, GEG makes no marranty (express or implied) regarding the future performance of the well or septic system. The following is a description of the waivers requested and their justifications. 1) EXISTING SOURCE WELL TO EXISTING SEWER MAIN, CO, & MANHOLE: We are requesting a 30 -foot waiver from the existing source well that serves Lot 27A to the existing sewer main, co, and manhole. Justifications for these waivers are as follows; • The recent Nitrate sample result was below the EPA MCL (0.2 mg/L). See attached result. • Per recent sampling, there is no issues with bacteria. • The encroachments have existed for at least 36 years. • Per the well log (attached), the aquifer is confined below thick layers of silty gravel & silty clay that serve to protect the aquifer. Based upon the justifications presented, there appears to be minimal risk in granting the requested waivers.
