Dear Mr. Lynn:
Re: Sewer Availability to Lot 3, Blk 3, Schroeder Subdivision
Sewer at this time is not available. The closest line that is
capable of being extended is presently located within the
Regional Park Subdivision.
The Anchorage Water & Sewer Utilities has proposed starting
construction of the Fire Lake Interceptor in 1981 with completion
probably not until mid 1982. This will bring sewers within 1/4
mile of subject property. It will then be up to the property
owner to either extend the main or petition AWSU to construct.
We are coordinating as best we can with the State Highway
Department and we are installing numerous sewer crossings on
the Old Glenn Highway. This will facilitate installation of the
line to serve the above lot.
