Ref: Well and Septic Reserve Map for the Subdivision of Lot 2, David Ring S/D into two lots.
To whom it may concern:
It is our understanding that the property owners of the referenced property are subdividing the
property into two lots. On 3/15/2006, Kenneth M. Duffus performed four test holes on the
property. Attached are his original soils logs. The percolation rates ranged from 6 to 24
minutes/inch. Per AMC 15.65.180, a minimum of 14,000 square feet is required for a septic
reserve area for the purpose of platting. This area can be seen on our well and septic reserve map
along with the proposed well locations. Groundwater monitoring was also performed during high
groundwater season and was not a concern. We have also included a topography site map which
shows that there are no slope concerns for the septic reserve area. Attached are several
surrounding well logs which indicates that this area has good producing wells and that there is
little concerns with well production for these two proposed wells. Based upon this information, it
is our opinion that there are no well or septic system concerns associated with subdividing this
property.

SUBJECT: Comments on Cases due June 15, 2006
The On -Site Water & Wastewater Program has reviewed the following cases and has
these comments:

Information to satisfy the requirements specified by AMC 21.15, AMC
15.55 and AMC 15.65 must be submitted for each lot within this proposed
subdivision. This information must include, but may not necessarily be
limited to:
1. Soils testing, percolation testing, and ground water monitoring must be
conducted to confirm the suitability for development using on-site
wastewater disposal systems. Ground water monitoring must be
conducted during high ground water season in either the fall (October) or
spring (May).
2. Areas designated for the original and replacement wastewater disposal
system sites must be identified and must meet all criteria specified in
AMC 15.65 including slope and slope setback requirements.
3. Topographical information must be submitted.
4. Provide documentation for water availability to serve water wells.
