PERCOLATION TEST. THE ENGINEER NEEDS TO DO AN ADDITIONAL PERCOLATION TEST PRIOR TO THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE SEPTIC FIELD. PLEASE SUBMIT STAMPED AND SIGNED RESULTS WITH THE I
AS -BUILT INSPECTION REPORT. IF THE RESULTS REQUIRE A DESIGN CHANGE, CONSTRUCTION OF THE

Attached, please find revised design drawings and back-up documentation for an on-
site septic system to be installed at Lot 27, Chugach Park View Subdivision.
Test hole and percolation test data are enclosed. Observations of the water table the
past several weeks indicate a depth to water table of seven feet in test hole #2. This
corresponds with a depth of 8 feet that was observed in test hole #3. We do not
anticipate the water table to rise above this level. Due to the high water table and
existing topography, a lift station will be required. The bed system will not be
pressurized.
The percolation rate of the soils requires the installation of a sand liner. The size of the
leach field is based on the requirements of the sand liner and a three bedroom home.
There is enough room on the property for a replacement system, as shown on the
attached site plan.
There is only one improved lot that borders this property and the existing well and septic
systems on that lot are in excess of 200 feet from the proposed location of the
improvements for this lot. We do not anticipate any adverse effects on neighboring
wells, septic systems, or drainage pattems by the installation of the proposed
improvements.

I have 30+ years experience in construction, from dirt work to finish
product. I'm currently employed by Blazy Construction based in
Soldotna AK as a superintendent, carpenter. I have experience
operating all types of equipment, large and small. I have over 200 hr
operating an excavator. I also own a skidster loader. I'm a bit of a
perfectionist and since this is going to be my personal residents I plan
on taking extra care to make sure everything is done right.
I'm going to be on site at all times and plan on doing most of the work
myself. I plan on renting the excavator I need to do the work.
