The proposed gravel bed area is approximately 50 feet from the west lot line and 105 feet from the nearest well on Lot 3. The septic tank will be more than 100 feet from an on-site well location to be developed. Site drainage will be graded to ensure that runoff is directed away from the drain field area. Mr. Gordon Seversen, P.E., Principal Engineer FINDINGS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS Two test pits were observed, having previously been excavated and left exposed. Some sloughing had occurred at Test Pit TF6-1. I hand excavated to bedrock and observed no water at the bedrock interface. Observation seven days later revealed no change - no water had accumulated in the test pits. RECOMMENDATIONS AND/OR CONCLUSIONS After seven days of observance, no water was observed at the bedrock interface.
