These lots are large and are to be served by private water wells.No adverse impacts are expected from on-site systems. No conflicts to the other lots will take place by this septic system construction. The easements are located on the drawing and are not encroached upon.New soil tests reveal clean sandy soil. An application rate of 1.2 GPD/FT2. Trench Length= 500 FT2/7'x 2 =35.7' trench, say 1 @ 38' (7' effective). A new 1250 gallon septic tank will be installed. A private well to be drilled. Specification Requirements: All components and work must comply with the Municipality of Anchorage Specifications(AMC) & State of Alaska Drinking Water Regulations and Wastewater Regulations. • Two compartment,New 1250 gallon septic tank. Install Double Cleanouts. • 5' minimum between the tank and trenches. 10' to property lines. • 3' of cover or insulation is required for trench; 2" Minimum thickness for insulation can substitute for l' cover. • Tank& solid pipe must be set on well compacted, stable soil. • 4 inch diameter cleanouts with airtight caps are required 1' to 4' from foundation wall, prior to any 90 degree bend in 4 inch line, in each tank compartment, and two adjacent opposing cleanouts between the tank and the absorption field, not more than 10' from the tank positioned to provide cleanout access towards the tank and towards the absorption field. • All cleanouts must extend to at least ground level. • In solid pipe runs, ASTM D-3034 may be used in lieu of cast iron. • Trench to be placed level,minimum of 4' to groundwater, 6' to bedrock from drain-rock. • Drain rock to be '/2 inch to 2 inch screened. Two new additional test holes were excavated. The soil discovered along the west property line is the best quality; clean sand with no grotmdwater present. For this reason, the owner is requesting the trench be constructed along the property line. No adverse issues should result from this trench location. The owner of Lot 4 is curremly living on the adjoining lot and has permission of the Lot 3 owner to clear trees along this border. These lots are large and are to be served by private water wells. No adverse impacts are expected from on-site systems. No conflicts to the other lots will take place by this septic system construction. The easements are located on the drawing and are not encroached upon. New soil tests reveal clean sandy soil. An application rate of 1.2 GPD/FT2. Trench Length = 500 FT2/7'x 2 = 35.7' trench, say 1 ~ 38' (7' effective). A new 1250 gallon septic tank will be installed. A private well to be drilled. Specification Requirements: All components and work must comply with the Municipality of gaxchorage Specifications (AMC) & State of Alaska Drinking Water Regulations and Wastewater Regulations. · Two compartment, New 1250 gallon septic tank. Install Double Cleanouts. · 5' minimum between the tank and trenches. 10' to property lines. · 3' of cover or insulation is required for trench; 2" Minimum thickness for insulation coax substitute for 1' cover. · Tank & solid pipe must be set on well compacted, stable soil. · 4 inch diameter cleanouts with airtight caps are required 1' to 4' from foundation wall, prior to any 90 degree bend in 4 inch line, in each tank compartment, and two adjacent opposing cleanouts between the tank and the absorption field, not more than 10' from the tank positioned to provide cleanout access towards the tank and towards the absorption field. · All cleanouts must extend to at least ground level. · In solid pipe runs, ASTM D-3034 may be used in lieu of cast iron. · Trench to be placed level, minimum of 4' to groundwater, 6' to bedrock from drain- rock. · Drain rock to be ½ inch to 2 ½ inch screened.
