Johnson Heights Subdivision
Thms so~ls report ms prepared to accompany the Johnson Heights
Subd~vlsmon Plat Th~s proposed subdivms~on consmsts of 9 acres
to be d~vlded ~nto two lots w~th areas of 7 acres and 2 acres.
There ms an ex~stlng house on the proposed 2 acre parcel.
The somls mnvest~gatlon consists of a well log for the ex~st~ng
house and one so~l sample taken mn a cut bank on the lot ~mmed~ately
west of thms subdmvls~on. The well log shows "loose rock, clay,
gravel and sand" from 4 ft to 38 ft. This corresponds to the
sample taken and the s~eve analys~s made on ~t. Both the well log
and s~eve analys~s results are attached for review.
Based on the s~lt content (% passing #200 s~eve) of 14%, no problem
should be expected ~n the mnstallat~on of a septmc d~sposal system
on the 7 acre parcel.

Dear Floyd:
Gxven below ms the result of a graxn size analysms for a soil
sample you-provided me on 8/5/81. It was my understandmng this
sample was collected by you and originated from a testhole located
within the Munlcmpallty of Anchorage.
Accordmng to the Textural Classification System the sub3ect sample
is classlfmed as a silty gravelly sand. The fmne portion of th~s
sample had a textural characteristic of a smlt. Attached ms a
copy of the laboratory tests results.
