Re: Test Hole and Soil Log Report ~or Sanitary System
Lot 23 and 24, Dowling Subdivision
Dear Mr. Capossela:
We are submitting herewith the test boring results and our comments
regarding soil conditions encountered at the subject site. This {nvesti-
gation was performed in accordance with your request o~ April 16, 1973
and those procedures outlined in a letter dated September 13, 1971 by
Air. Rolt~ Str{ckland o~ the Greater Anchorage Area Borough Department
of Environmental Quality.
A sir~le test hole was put down within the Lots 23 and 24 area ~or the
purpose o~ defining general subsurt~ace soil conditions ~or the proposed
sanitary system. Excavation was accomplished with a tractor-mounted
bac]choe and the test hole was extended to a total depth o~ 14 Jeeff below
ground surtCace. The ~inal log prepared ~or the test hole has been included
in Drawing A-01.
Ground water was not encountered in the test hole.
