Per the 1969 inspection report (IR), the perimeter of the seepage pit is 16'x18' feet (including gravel). Per the as -built survey, the seepage pit pipe is approximately 17 feet from the garage. Assuming the seepage pit pipe is near the center of the crib, the "log crib portion of the seepage pit" should be at least 10 feet from the garage slab. Additionally, the garage is "slab on grade" and does not have a "daylight basement". We feel there is minimal risk in having the edge of the effective depth less than 10 feet from the edge of the garage foundation. If you have any questions, please contact us at 337-6179.
