Subject: Lot 25, Creekside Park Subdivision 1
Approval for the individual sewer and water facilities cannot
be granted until the following items have been completed:
The septic tank pumped with a receipt submitted to this
department. The total number of gallons pumped needs to be
on the receipt and verified by a registered engineer as to
the actual number of gallons pumped. This is to verify the
size of the septic tank.
An adequacy test needs to be i~rformed on the existinG
leaching area. This test will determine if the system is
adequate according to National Standards. A listing of
private firms performing the test is enclosed. This report
needs to be submitted to this office for our review.
four (4) inch cleanout needs to be installed to the
<~ leachin~ area.
Please notify this Department for a reinspection when the
noted discrepancies have been corrected. If there are any
further questions, please call this office at 264-4720.

The adequacy test was started at 2:15 p.m.
There were no stand~_t~e~u, t4~ le~#$m9 area, so water was
added to the system through the septic tank. ~ow rate
steadx at 7.5 gwm. MoJ~it~ri~af w~er level in the tank was
performed coa[inuously throughout the test using a float.
~QQ. gallons (2 times the daily design flow) was added to the
system with no ~igltif~(cmmt rise in li~i'~ level.

6aPaE-{'ty O~ 1060 gallons.
RESULTS:
The absorption system accepted 2 times the daily design flow
of 150 gallons per day, per bedroom. The tank capacity was
determined to be 1000 gallons. The septic system is adequate
by Municipality of Anchorage Standards.

an absorption field sump in place and is in compliance with
MOA-DHEP requirements.
