ALASKA 99507 344'08117 · 344-7960 Planning Department 3500 Tudor Road Anchorage, Alaska Dear Mr. Carr: Re z~ :olonial Park Subdivision On December 3{ 1974 the Platting Board approved the subject resubdivision. This resubdivision provided adequate area to allow for protective radii of a public well to be located on "the east end of the property. A well was drilled to 400 feet in the location shown on the approved plat. Adequate water to serve the planned water system was not found. Following consultation with Mr. Strickland of the Department of Environmental Quality and yourself, a well was drilled on the west end of the property. Adequate water to serve the planned water system was found. We respectfully request that the Platting Board allow us to move the large lots to the west end of the property to pro- vide the required protective area for the public well. Total number of lots is to remain as approved. Very truly yours, H. It.
