Huff Contracting Engineers & Associates 1801 Stanton Avenue Anchorage, Alaska SUBJECT: Water System & Sanitary Sgwer Extension Bryant Subdivision Dear Mr. Huff: We have the following comments in regard to t~e subject plans. Ci) The material used for water-mains and house connections should be of a material which will allow for thawing if freezing happens to take place. Satisfactory chemical and bacteriological tests must be furnished this office before complete approval of the system is given. (3) No additional connections shall be made to this water system until plans and specifications covering the proposed additions have been submitted to this office for review and approval. (4) Man Hole ~li. at~.i..+83.0 must be re- located outsi~e the 80 ft. radius surrounding the well. If any sewer pipe still intrudes within this 80 ft. radius this sewer pipe shall be either cast or ductile~iron pipe. This hol~:true for household connections as well as the sewer main itself. £s) More detailed information should be furnished on the well, such as depth and Production rate when they become available. Mr. Glen A. Huff -2- October 24, 1972~ With the understanding that the above requirements will be met the plans and specifications for the subject project are approved for the features with which this department is concerned. Yours truly, Regional Environmental Engineer KJC/cg cc: GAAB-DEQ~''
