Dear Mr. Fejes: Due to the limited excavation being performed to develop these sites we feel that there is no need for a sedimentation and erosion control plan. However, care should be taken by the contractor using conventional means to limit erosion and sedimentation to acceptable levels. Previously we conducted subsurface investigations and surveyed grades on this subdivision. Enclosed is a map of the slopes encountered. If the dwellings are constructed on the slopes not exceeding 25%, erosion and sedmentation will be controlled. We do not suspect any drainage problems will arise during the construction period. Should the natural drainage in these lots be changed in any way during lot construction a civil engineer should be consulted to insure proper measures are taken to prevent detrimental effects on the natural watershed. On Tuesday April 14, 1983 we conducted a site survey for the purpose of locating undetected underground springs. Staying within the limits of practicality no such springs were found. Should any underground springs be disrupted by the excavation process immediate action should be taken by consulting a civil engineering firm and ratifying the situation according to their specifications. During the site investigation natural drainage run-off channels were observed. These channels are very common at this time of year. The same restrictions apply to these channels as previously mentioned. In conclusion wa feel that these lots satisfactorily meet the requirements set forth by platting board authority and may be approved as platted. These tests were preformed with a mobile B-24 Surveyor Drill, in conjunction with the requirements set forth in "Design Manual For On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems" published be the E.P.A. The objective of our testing was to determine the soils' suitability for on-site septic systems. The important soil characteristics are: 1) Soil depth (depth to bedrock) 2) Depth to ground water, and 3) Soil permeability. 4) Grade Please refer to attached sheet for the individual soils logs. Based on oar testing we conclude that all important soil conditions are acceptable for the proper functioning of on-site septic systems. The tract may be approved as platted.
