Thank you for your time yesterday, Lucille and Mike
Johnson, ~wners of the above Subdivision, have been hearing
confusing reports concerning the soils and parc. tests. This
letter 'is to summarize the converatie~ you and I had on that
subject.

A deep hole next to parc, hole no, 8 showed ground water at
5 feet. We will drill another hole nearer to Rabbit Creek Road,
lookin~ for a lower ground water table. A curtain drain will
remain another option if the water table must be lowered. You
explained your new design criteria on curtain drains.

As stated before, I recommend using a higher perc. rate
value than shown when sizing beds or trenches in shallow soils.
These soils are fairly loose and can be easily compacted during
construction or by the extended application of wastewater.
I hope this letter will solve any problems Mr. and Mrs.
Johnson were having. I would appreciate a copy of this letter
with your initials on it indicating your agreement.
