1. This refers to our memorandums of September ll, 1968 and March 20, 1969 and your
answering memorandum (with copy of letter dated April 3, 1969 from the consulting
engineers concerned) of April 4, 1969 which forwarded plans for the subject project,
revised September 19, 1968 which included-our recommendations.
2. The plans are approved f6r those features with which this Department is concerned.

Dear Mr. Judkins:
This will transmit to you the revised plans for the sewer
improvements in subject subdivisions. The plans were
revised immediately after receipt of your review last
October. Resubmittal of the revised plans at an earlier
date was an oversight on our part. I have turned the
office upside down looking for the letter you sent last
month but have had no luck yet. It was misplaced between
Frank's desk and mine. If any questions remain, please
contact us.
Again, I wish to apologise for the delay caused by our
oversight.

We have reviewed the specifications and plans for the subject project.
A reduction in the slope of the sewer line from MH-12 to MH-7, from .40 percent to
either .35 percent or .30 percent will allow a Row of at least 2. fps or better from
MH-12 to MH-4. This will necessitate a corresponding reduction in slope from MH-5B
to MH-5 of from .40 percent to .35 percent3his is preferable to the less than 2. fps
in sections of this line which results from the present arrangement.
