Two test holes were excavated on the property in the area for the proposed septic system. The drainfield will be designed around the 30 foot radius of these test holes. We are proposing that a 1000 gallon septic tank and a 5-wide type drainfield be installed. The well is to be drilled in the area shown on the attached site plan and design drawings. Comments regarding the septic design are summarized as follows: 1. sOILs: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. It is our opinion that an application' rate of 1.0 gallons/day/ft2 should be used. 2. TRENCH DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: 1.0 & 1.0 minutes/inch b. Proposed Application Rate: 1.0 gallons/day/ft2 c.
