No.1 Gentlemen: The owner has requested we proceed forward to obtain a well and septic permit on the subject lot On May 25, 2000 we dug one testhole for the proposed system The results of the test is attached The general slope of this lot is from west to east at a grade of approximately 5-10% for the western one-third of the property. From there the slope continues in excess of 25% to Little Peter's Creek on the eastern portion of the property. We have designed our system utlhzmg the testhole we excavated for the 3-bedroom house, which is proposed for this lot. The lot will be served by an individual well. We propose to install a 2' wide deep trench Water was not encountered during the excavation or monitoring There are no public or private wells within 200' of our proposed system location except as noted There is no surface water within 100' of the proposed system and there are no known curtain drams within 50'. The connections were found to be' in good condition and it is assumed that this is the case at the inlet of the tank which was not uncovered. From my inspection of the leach area- I am reasonably sure that the tank area would have the same type construction and ask that you approve this waivier.
