Box 196650 Anchorage, AK 99519-6650 REF: Preliminary Plat- Hulquist S/D, Lots 1-4, S-10291A Dear Jerry: In compliance with the conditions of approval for the referenced project, we are submitting the following information pertaining to on-site sewer and wells: Copies of the final plat layout, which shows the surveyed test hole locations, proposed reserve areas based on test hole results, and proposed well locations. This drawing also shows all existing documented sewers/wells within 200 feet of the development. Original soil log reports for proposed lots 1, 2 and 4, which are stamped and signed by a registered civil engineer. These logs include water-monitoring results. Lot 3 has been developed and has an approved on-site well and septic in place. 3. Copies of adjacent well logs that show more than adequate supplies of potable water available. There is no open water body that impacts this potential development. We have located the proposed reserve areas for on-site septic systems outside the 100-foot well radii as indicated. All driveways will be sloped toward the street. There does not appear to be significant surface drainage within the roadways and the lots are well drained. The results of these tests and water monitorLng are attacked. We propose to install a 2' wide deep trench. The testholes indicated no water, and based on other area testholes and monitoring we have no concerns that water may be found later on in the year. Additional fill will be placed over ~he system to provide a minLmum of 3' of cover when complete. TK[s !et will have a break in the center to slope ~o the west and east wis gradual slopes o£ between 2-5% % which is away from the proposed house and the proposed well. The existing ground will be regraded prior to construction, We propose to drill the well southwest of the house and septic area. lhere are no public or private wet[s within loft of our proposed system location. There is neither surface water within 10ft nor any known curtain drah~s witkir~ 50'. We do not expect il'tat there will Im any adverse effect on adjacent lots by the development of this system.
