GEG inspector Jody Maus measured 10 feet from these stakes to the edge of the drainfield during the inspections of the installation. We performed swing - ties, final grades, and tied the house location into the property corners. Upon preparing the record drawings, it appears the drainfield is only about 6 feet from the west lot line. We are requesting a 6 foot lot line waiver be granted. The owner of Lot 9 also owns the lot to the west (Lot 10) and has no objection to the granting of this waiver. If you have any questions, please contact us at 337-6179. We are proposing that a new 2000 gallon septic tank and a bed type drainfield be installed. Test hole was excavated on the property and the primary drainfield and reserve drainfield will be designed around the 30 foot radii of TH#9A, TH#9B, and TH#9. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring. and the percolation test results. 2. DRAINFIELD DESIGN: See attached design drawing for drainfield specifications. 3. SURFACE WATERS: There are no surface waters within 100 feet of the proposed septic system. 4. TOPOGRAPHY: As can be seen on the attached site plan and design drawing, the topography is shown. In short, there are no slope concerns with this installation and there are no cutbanks such as road ditch with 50 feet that will impact the installation of the septic system.
